10:30am - I was still walking sluggishly around the house. Sincerely, I didn't feel like going out today, I wasn't just in the mood for many reasons.
11:05am - I finally managed to get out of the house . I was already late, extremely late in fact. I was supposed to get to my destination at 8:30am at least.
The way I walked down the road, one would think I was being pushed by the wind. Just the off mood shhaa.
"Kopa Shun" someone shouted.
"Good Morning sir"
"Good morning Kopa, let me bless you with small thing. It's very small o, manage it"
"Thank you very much sir, God bless you"
I check my hands and I see a bottle of fanta and #500 note.
"I don't understand, maybe I'm dreaming."
But I wasn't dreaming. I couldn't get his name, he just wanted to bless me.
3:30pm - I was on my way home. As I was trying to get to the bus stop, "Kopa Wee o", I heard.
I responded.
"Are going home?"
"Yes sir"
"Let me pay for your keke o"
Hands me #500
"Lobatan!"
5:09pm - I'm reflecting on my day and all that transpired. I'm grateful for every gift I received. I don't really know the people who blessed me today, we don't speak the same language and I don't know their names. And all these terrifies me - the fact that God can use strangers you meet on the road to refresh His own.
God is God.
